This Item Is Temporarily Unavailable El Capitan Reinstall

  • I just purchased a used MacBook Air from a seller. I believe it is the 2011 model. After receiving it, I went into recovery to reinstall Mac OS X 10.7, but a message popped up saying 'This item is temporarily unavailable. Try again later.' After I entered in my Apple ID. I even tried entering in the seller's Apple ID but I got the same message.
  • Dude, you are a savior! I am running El Capitan on a MBP 5,1 and tried dosdude1 hack to reach High Sierra but got an issue during the installation and my machine did not work anymore. With your dmg I was able to reinstall El Capitan over my crippled version and all is good again. Thank you a thousand times! Pedro September 21, 2019 at 5:57 PM Reply.

Something I'm trying to do at the moment. I don't often use macs but i'm trying to fix one that needs an OS reinstall, but only have a windows machine to do it on. I'm looking at tutorials online but I can't seem to find a Mac OS Image file online, Id rather avoid torrents if at all possible. I erased my drive and wanted to reinstall OS X El Capitan. Powtoon offline crack. After I agreed to the terms then selected my drive I signed into the Apple store. I put the confirmation code in from my phone and it said “This item is temporarily unavailable Try again later”. I tried restarting it and trying then shutting it down and trying but it still won’t work.

(In the spirit of confession, I managed to delete the core operating system off my first Unix system in 1994, because I thought, “This file takes up too much space!”)

Fortunately, Apple has you covered with macOS Recovery. You may know this tool, introduced way back in Mac OS X 10.7 Lion, as a way to start up your computer to run Disk Utility without having your startup drive mounted, to reinstall macOS, and for a number of other technical purposes.

macOS Recovery occupies a small, invisible partition on your startup drive, and lives quietly there until you need it. But what happens if you erase the entire drive, including this hidden partition?

Macs can reach out over the internet and bootstrap themselves back into operation, as the Mac firmware—software built into a Mac that’s persistent and isn’t dependent on the operating system being installed—knows how to connect to the internet and reach Apple’s servers.

Start up your Mac from a shut down state or restart it, then immediately hold down Command-R. The Mac should recognize that there’s no macOS Recovery partition installed, show a spinning globe. You should then be prompted to connect to a Wi-Fi network, and you enter a password.

At this point, the Mac should start to download the recovery files from the internet and show a status bar. When complete, it should reinstall macOS Recovery and reinstall macOS on the main partition. (If your main macOS partition had system files become damaged or missing, your other files will remain intact, as this reinstallation only installs and replaces system files and apps.)

Command-R should reinstall the latest version of macOS that you had previously installed on this computer. However, you have other keystroke options depending on which version was previously installed. Hp compaq dx6120 sound drivers for windows 7.

Apple changed the start keys with macOS Sierra version 10.12.4. If you have ever installed that version on your Mac, no matter what version (or no version) is currently installed, you have these options.

Hey Mac Tech's.
Firstly, Im a long time intermediate Windows user with little knowledge on the Mac systems. so any help and clear direction would be great.
Back story- I recently purchase a secondhand 2007/8 Mac PC that was running El Capitan OS X, for my wife as she is about to start Uni again.
My first instinct was a fresh install, to clear any old stuff from the previous user. I don't have any OS Disks, So with a bit of googling and went ahead with the process.
I was able to clear the main HD (Macintosh HD) and everything was good until i went to re-install.
The Issue: When trying to reinstall the El Capitan OS X though the OS X Utilities. I am getting a 'This item is temporarily unavailable, try again later' message, after signing in with my apple ID (which i had from ipads).
What i have tried:
1. Change the date through Terminal to 2016. - Failed
2. Get help online and log into iCloud on the Mac, then go back and try to install. - Failed
On another note - all attempts to use internet boot install (CMD, Option, R) have failed. i think this may be due to using a wireless keyboard and it not syncing until after the Mac has 3/4 loaded.
I also do not have access to any other Mac system.
Any help or guidance would be great.
